Catch 22, win2000 Guest and VM-Tools

Hi All,

Trying to get win2000-SP4 working as a guest from an iso. It installs and runs OK, but when I try to install vm-tools I get an error about missing DLLs.

OK, so some searching and I find that I need the win2000 rollup from msoft and I now have that, but now that catch 22.

The VM win2000 installation will not allow me to share a folder without the vm-tools and same for connecting to the host (win7pro) via the network.

Also, win2000 cannot access the internet to direct download the rollup, I assume that will be fixed when the vm-tools are finally installed.

So, how can I get the win2000 guest to see the rollup so I can install it?
