Hello Josh,
Yes it is a hosting environment and we are VSPP and SPLA Partners, so that’s fine.
You are right with VRF. We thought about this already and right now I still think that it is ok that we plan the IPs for the customer and we don't need it.
But with VRF I could have more flexibility over the network, so I have to think about that.
How would you handle that? Would you go with the virtual Nexus?
The Firewall we use is ok for our environment, only our ProCurves are not.
We use Junipers for the iSCSI, Management and vMotion Part, but for VM Traffic we are on ProCurves because we had them in the beginning for iSCSI as recommendation of HP so there were just bought so we used them.
The issue with the VLAN is something I don't understand, but I will exchange them with Juniper EX3200 series, so we have 4096 VLANS which should perform great.
What I did not hear until now is the clustering and vxVLANs, can you explain how that works?
